Local painter Lisa Anne Tindal is a new artist featured in the Evergreen High Summer issue. Lisa's artwork for this issue evokes stillness and peace, quiet joy and thoughtful serenity. Lisa believes creativity stirs curiosity and curiosity invites hope. "I paint because it feels hopeful, and it is a joy to believe my paintings may influence others toward hope."

Molly Courcelle is one of Evergreen's first artist contributors (Late Spring issue 2021) and she lives in Asheville, NC. "Painting is a celebration for me – of the wonder of the visual world and the emotion and meaning of the spiritual.” The tension of energy and movement in Molly's artwork is a great fit for our magazine as we examine how faith fits into our ever-changing world.
